Who We Are

Odd Job Digital Inc. ("we", "us", "our") is a digital advertising agency based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, and related marketing for our clients, and we operate a client dashboard and internal tools that connect to those services.

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information across everything we run — our website (oddjobdigital.ca), our client dashboard and reporting tools, and the systems we use to manage and optimize your advertising accounts.

What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to two groups:

Information We Collect

Website visitors: When you contact us through our website or by email, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, company, and your message. Our website may use basic analytics to understand traffic and improve the site.

Client account information: When we create a dashboard account for you, we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Advertising and business data: To manage your accounts and display your performance, we connect to third-party services on your behalf. This may include data from:

This data includes advertising metrics (spend, clicks, conversions), revenue figures, campaign and account configuration, and customer or lead records where applicable. We access this data using authorized API credentials managed by our team.

Usage data: We log authentication events (sign-ins) and dashboard activity for security and troubleshooting purposes.

How We Use Your Information

Changes We Make on Your Behalf

Managing your advertising means making changes to the accounts and platforms you connect to us. Using the authority you grant us when you engage our services, we make changes such as:

Some of these changes are made manually by our team, and some are made automatically by our systems on your behalf. We log the changes we make so they can be reviewed and, where needed, reversed.

Automated and AI-Assisted Decisions

Some optimizations and changes to your accounts are generated or assisted by automated systems, including artificial intelligence models provided by Anthropic (Claude). When we share your data with these systems to produce recommendations or apply changes, it is used only to perform that work. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its commercial API to train its models. Automated changes operate within limits configured by our team and remain subject to our review.

How We Protect Your Information

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

International Data Transfers

Some of the services and providers we use — including advertising platforms and our AI provider — process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using our services, you understand that your data may be processed outside Canada, subject to the protections described in this policy.

Data Retention

We retain client account information and dashboard data for as long as you are an active client. If our service agreement ends, we will delete your account and associated data within 90 days unless you request earlier deletion or we are required to retain it by law. Inquiries from website visitors are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain our records.

Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA), you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

Cookies and Analytics

Our dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you signed in after authentication. This cookie is HTTP-only and secure. Our website may use basic analytics cookies to understand traffic. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies to profile you across the web.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify affected clients via email or a notice in the dashboard, and update the effective date at the top of this page.
